Okay, in my time of need I would like to reach out to all of you about whom I don't know nearly enough, in the interest of getting to know you and getting a decent grade on a piece of English work. I need a real-person source, and all my non-online people have come up blank. It's like this:

Tell me a story about you and a river. Any story, any real thing about you and the moving water of your choice. If you have no river story, make one up. Please be as detailed as you can (or don't bother, so I can make stuff up). Tell me especially about your thoughts and feelings--those I can't just invent.

Yes, I realize that I'm just attacking you with a request for help here, but...well, it's an English assignment. 'Nuff said.
