Okay, couldn't post this yesterday (ran out of class time), so:

NaNo prompt, 10/18, "Moon", 245 words

Moon )

And...

New record! This makes me oh-so-happy!

NaNo prompt, "Illness", 276 words (!)

Illness )

Okay, so I'm stretching the prompts to stay within my world. That makes me happiest! Character development through 'toss them in and see what they want to be': prepping style of the geeky fangirl.

So. I have a moral dilemma right now. It was caused by this story a YGO humorfic (where 'humor' is used in the loosest possible sense of the word) where Yami dislocates his patella. It's stupid, immature, and OOC, and while the writer apparently knows vaguely what happens, I know all the bits she is leaving out, like the paperwork. And the fact that, if I did not scream/faint/curse off the EMTs, you can bet good money that Yami wouldn't either. He does not do hysterical. Fact. He does not scream like a little girl. Further fact. A dislocated kneecap is, if not the least, certainly the most mundane of his problems. Complete and utter fact.

So, the dilemma: Do I send a review, saying a)so OOC could not touch canon with a long pole, b)that's not what it's like, c)you left out hospital policy (now, with paperwork and hours-long waits!), d)why the heck is Bakura the only person there, and e)it's not funny. It hurts. But not as much as anything would have to hurt for Yami to scream like that.

OR do I ignore it, on the grounds that anything I sent would be a scathing flame-like piece of criticism with little to no good bits, because there were none? In short, do I or do I not risk flaming?

Advice, please/
