cygna_himeI'm tired as a very tired thing, my head hurts, and I've stopped working on my final because I've lost the ability to form a coherent sentence in English, let alone Japanese, but it was worth it.
P-Day just rocked. There were all kinds of booths, and food, and games, and free stuff. Think Japanese festival, only without the kimonos and entire blocks long. And every business in town has something set up.
Funnel cake = God. Mmmmm, fried grease with sugar! Also had ice cream, lemonade, and an ice pop, which may help to explain the headache.
I got the best handbag. There was this one woman selling silk-embroidered purses, and they were absolute gorgeous, so I bought one. It's black (natch), with a round decorated panel with flowers embroided on it. I love it already.
I bought two shopping bags full (and I do mean full) of books for $2. Mwahahah. Most of the best books were gone by then, but I still got some great ones, some good ones, and some don't know ones.
An absolutely great day. Now, however, I need some sleep.
