cygna_himeI have spent some time considering this query: Which is the more weird, having the creator of the universe be a fluffy white marhsmallow thing, or having the Bright Power, Michael-Athena-Prometheus-etcetera, be a macaw? It's a tricky question.
I have found a most egregious mess of a Canon!Sue to PPC. Tomoyo and Meiling have magic, are goddesses, the gang goes to Hogwarts, Tomoyo turns into a god-player, and Snape says he missed their cheery faces. On the other hand, I expect Tomoyo looks very good in her new outfits, so Agent Janet will be happy enough to warrant...discipline. OF a most unusual sort.
The Young Wizards trilogy and the Dark is Rising sequence would cross over really well. What with having the same Dark Lord/Power/Rider/Whatever and all. And Bran and Ronan could hang out together and commiserate.
Query: Can Old Ones not be killed? Not by Dark magic, but by, say, sharp pointy things? Can they be decapitated, say? What would happen? Are they flame-proof? What can't kill them could probably make them wish it could, after all. Ah, the rigors of immortality. *plots plots involving Merriman's head and Pretty Lucretia Heels of Doom and Pointiness* *looks around* What?
Of course, CCS and Dark is Rising would cross over excellently. 'Oh, it's you again.' 'Weren't you taller before?' 'I reincarnated. I was bored.' And, since I have an unupdated CCS/YW crossover that I feel the urge to work on at last, I don't think I have to mention that they cross easily.
I have developed a sudden craving for a)Meiling gen-angst, and b)Sesshoumaru ditto. Sesshoumaru Angst: It's like the Feanorians, but more specific! I want to write about Meiling's singing, because though she talks about it we never do hear her sing. Everything else she brags about she can really do. *gives Meiling biiiig hug* Poor dear.
I am tempted to start PPCing the Narnia fandom. No one is allowed to write Edmund/OC on my watch. No one.
I intend to go through the Static Shock fandom and find out which of the boys the Mary Sues attack most. Not that it much matters, because sometimes the Canon Love simply shines on through. *mutters* They'd just better not lay one finger onmy Richie, that's all I'm saying.
I wrote the prologue/first chapter of what will eventually become a Deishipping (official name! Yay!) AU, starting from the end of Noa's Arc. Tentative title is File: Save As. Will type it tomorrow.

Well, in one book, someone (Merriman or Will...) says that they can be happy, be sad and cry, can be tickled, be pricked and bleed, etc, but if they're killed, they won't die. Use at will.
