1. I don't understand you. I don't understand how you can be who you are, and still follow things that are so, so contrary to you. I don't understand how you can support your own destruction. Why do I care more than you? Doesn't it matter to you that you're first in line for the hopefully metaphorical gas chambers? Don't you see? I don't understand you, and I probably never will.
2. What would you say if I said I loved you? How would you answer me? I guess I'll never know...
3. I feel I don't know you anymore. Once, I thought you were everything that is good and right, but now I'm not sure we can even meet on equal ground. You are so different from me, I wonder why I can no longer count you as a friend. I wish I knew why we're drifting apart.
4. I want to take care of you. I want to be able to treat you like the child I am, and if that makes sense then you certainly can guess who you are. You deserve to be taken care of, and I want to be able to pamper you worse than a child. You bring out my latent maternal instincts, which really shouldn't happen at my age. But I wuvses you anyway.
5. You're my best friend, and I always tend to cling to you. I wish I could ignore that I'm not your best friend and never will be. I wish I could pretend that I'm not just another hanger-on you put up with. I wish I could forget the one time you said you were never my friend. I wish I could think you remembered too. You are my friend, you are, you are. I just wish I could know if I was yours.
6. I like you, y'know? Though I don't say it much, though I'm not as nice to you as I should be, I do like you.
7. When did I get so much older than you? When did I start growing past playing Mary Sue games and you stayed behind with your imagination? When did I get so much more insistent on proper characters than you? When did you get so young?

9. Are you willing to be my friend? I don't know. You seem so much better than I am at everything I try to be good at, and then some. I would like to be your friend. Do you even care who I am?
