Happy Thanksgiving for my fellow USans, and for the rest of you, happy fourth Thursday in November! Also, special birthday wishes for tamchronin! Yaay!

Apropos, Rider-chan, would Maglor/Daeron (omgtheirloveissomusical) suit as a birthday fic? I'm short on ideas that include neither Men nor children of Finarfin.

Having multiple guests over (it's true: nothing good ever does follow 'multiple') for dinner, so have only a few more hours to NaNo before working/cooking/cleaning. Yum, pumpkin pie. No family--Thanksgiving was always time to go down to Atlanta, but without Gran...It didn't feel right.

Hope to get at least 5,000 words today. almost 2,000 of them so far. Yaye, to coin a phrase.

Rec! chresimos just compiled a list of political essays, cartoons, and other stuff for the embittered and embattled. Go, read, now! I command you! (Don't make me use small caps)

I am skipping Thanksgiving this year - my parents and sisters are going to a holiday dinner at a friend's house, but I went last year and made an Oath of Feanorian proportions NEVER to go again - and so will have more time for NaNo.

Unfortunately, my spacebar key has chosen today to stop working (unless it is hit very hard). Joy.
