Aphrodite hrrumphed. How dare mortals disrespect her wonderful story so! Well, she'd show them! She'd write another story, an even better one!...After she read her new reviews.
The usual sincere compliments from Eros, of course. Her boy was so nice. (from luv_child-omg so kewl i luv it rait moor!) Ares (warmonger59) had dropped by as well, with a comment on how glad he was she'd used his idea. The rest were her regular readers, all except...Oh. There was one new name, and Aphrodite had a feeling she knew who 'UltimateHero' was. With a slight tremor of goddessly trepidation, she clicked on the link.
The computer screen all but exploded in flames at the force of invective that was being directed through it. Aphrodite didn't read the entire, page-long review, but what she saw consisted largely of unfavorable comparisons of her appearance, sex life, writing ability, and parentage with those of various animals, finished with a threat to report her to various authorities. So he was the one who'd gotten her story deleted! With a cry of rage, she opened a new e-mail and began to compose a scathing reply.
