Fic happens.

So I just finished this week's in-school fic project, seven pages (SEVEN. PAGES. WTF?) of me attempting to explain Gippal, because he's weird. And interesting. And this story has...any pairings you want it to have. It's versatile like that, because subtext is a lovely thing. It does not, however, have Sixteen-year-old!Sex-god!Gippal, because it wasn't so long ago that all my male classmates were sixteen, and none of them were sex gods. Especially not the ones who, in other lives, were captain of the Robotics team. And a high-school AU rears its ugly head...

And I still have two pages of 'Explain the various debacles at Mushroom Rock Road in two thousand words or fewer, with special reference to Kinoc's plotting' looking for a good home.

I'm still looking hopefully around for somewhere to stick FFX genfic that ff_press will pick up where I have a hope of getting actual reviews.

I did stick an OT3 drabble on pyre_flies this week, but it's just not the same. My opera deserve love! (Er, that would be 'opera' as in plural of 'opus', because I'm a Latin geek.)

So now I'm going to go watch the RP midden hit the windmill (in a purely intentional and IC-only way), and bemoan the lack of genfic love.
