Presents are wrapped. The 'Yule tree' (since a Christmas tree has as much to do with the Christianity as the word 'Easter', and we're a Jewish household anyway) is decorated with the same ornaments we've been accumulating for years. We have a sun on the top, and a funny ornament that looks like a pregnant frog with wings, and a set of egg-faces, and so many many other things.
The stockings are not hung--yet. Neither are the cookies and milk set out (or the pork pies and sherry). They will be.
I hope we have enough Channukkah candles. I don't think we've got the menorah de-waxed from last year, either. We'll handle that tomorrow.
Grandparents and Uncle Marty are coming tomorrow, 5-ish. There will be presents.
