God, I'm tired.
Yesterday, we had the Day in Old Rome banquet and such, which meant wearing my last-minute stola and using it to carry a water bottle for the Spirit procession. Someone may still have a voice, but I doubt it.
There were Roman legion reenactors there, squee! I got to try on chainmail--really quite comfortable--and a helmet. It was very interesting, the spears especially. Funfun. Unfortunately, the group is based out of Arkansas, so probably no going to see.
I have two ribbons to take home, whee! Third for Reading Comprehension level II (it was impossibly hard, but I'm a good guesser) and fifth for Latin Derivatives. Most excellent.
I think I'm going to finish my Hades/Persephone story for the modern myth contest next year. I'm confident the judges will find it interesting.
I am so doing this again next year.
