Colors of spring.
Apr. 9th, 2005 05:20 pmThe grass is green, what there is that could be persuaded to grow here. The buds on the vines and trees are green. The flowers are green trimmed with yellow and blue. The house is green--a new color for it. My dress is green.
All hail, for spring has arrived!
In other news, I love Gneil absolutely. Just read through Sandman vols. 2-4, and thought the story was (per usual) excellent, though the art was not always that great. It outright sucked in places. But the stories made it well worth it. Just for Death and Dream being all sibling-y, it would be worth buying copies.
I had my usual post-Gneil writing urge, but it came out over on
nameless_book, who was due to produce a story anyway, and of just the right kind.
I read the DC Crisis on Infinite Earths. Consensus: It would have been excellent if I had any emotional investment in the characters, or even knew who half of them were. It's great; I'm the one who isn't in the right position.
I have a lot of library books to read. See you later.
