I live! Honest!
Feb. 27th, 2005 06:58 pmSee,
stormflare? I do exist. And nothing bad happened. Nothing happened, in fact, and I was too lazy to find something to update with.
Parental Units went out to an instructors' party for the Place du Fencing, so yours truly and Sister Dearest are alone for the evening. I plan to do as much homework as possible while watching a MST3K DVD. Too. Much. Make-up. Work. Also, what's this I hear about testing next week? Aer-chan, Shiro-kun, Stormflare-chan [must...create...nickname...], what's going on?
But! Had Japanese class today [wore my hair loose--think it looked okay, but omg!the inconvenience!], with a certain someone. Squee, okay? I'm pathetic, fine? And he brought the abovementioned MST3K DVD to lend me, after I mentioned last week that I would love a chance to see it. Squee! Squee!
...So I'm a pathetic teenage girl. At least I wouldn't be caught dead saying any of this a)out loud, or b)where he could hear.
We learned how to do quotations today in class. This makes me happy--now I can write actual stories! Sort of. Also, the little quotation-mark half-bracket things are fun. See? I was *so* paying attention!
I think he needs to be introduced to Tom Lehrer music. I know we must have a CD *somewhere*...
ETA: Oh, yeah, I also rewatched the Sanosuke-introduction episodes of RK. Conclusion: Sanosuke is Teh Sex. I drool. I swoon. I stare like the fangirl I am. I also think that he and Kenshin ought to be a couple. They're like Kurogane and Fai all over again. Also, did I mention that Sano is...Sano? And Sex? And completely and utterly drool-worthy?
Of course, my disjointed brain connects RK with the Watch saga, in particular, of Discworld. "They fought for those who'd been abandoned, they fought for one another, and they were betrayed. Men like them always are." -Night Watch (On the other hand...If you had to protect it by standing in the doorway with a sword, you were too late. Sometimes protecting the small things had to start with protecting the big things, and maybe the world wasn't big enough. -Monstrous Regiment). In fact, all of Night Watch is like a different picture of the same story. Sing it with me now:
All the little angels rise up, rise up, all the little angels rise up high...
