From [livejournal.com profile] butterflydrming, my companion in villainy:

AHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
You're a villain!

...though you prefer to think of yourself as misunderstood. You know the world would be a better place if they'd only let you be in charge of it, and if they don't appreciate your genius by themselves you're willing to make them. You've got good hair, a secret base and an ambivalent relationship with the bishounen hero. You've got the money, the women, the best mecha and your own private army, but you still lose in the end to some jumped-up kid with spiky hair. There is no justice.

Which generic anime character are you?

I started the challenge at Tsukimine today. I have no least favorite--believe it or not, I don't hate anyone, and the only people I don't actively love (i.e. Syaoran), I can't get inside enough to write as principals. So I'm doing something a bit different from what other people are. I'm writing Touya through the harshest, most critical, most despising eyes in the world...

No, I can't force myself to write Evil!Nasty!Jerk!Touya. It rings all my OOC bells at once. I can't actually change the way he is, but I can change the way he's perceived. Oddly, it seems to go the opposite way from most stories written by people who don't like him. I don't know why. Maybe it's that I'm looking at the dark side of his qualities, not just at his flaws. And that's wuite a compendium; just think of where kindness, stoicism, and protectiveness can go...or how they can be perceived. ScrewedUp!Touya is frighteningly easy to write.

I think I'll begin work on F:SA chapter 1 soon; I want to really get this one done, and done well. It'll be right after the challenge fic, then.

And I should really dash off a few [livejournal.com profile] 30_kisses segments while I can.

Full enough plate, you reckon?

Dear English Teacher,

I would respect you and be inclined to learn from you a lot more if you could avoid making errors on quizzes. Peisistratos is Nestor's son, not Menelaos'. They're kind of easy to tell apart. One's this old guy, rules Pylos, strategist, could talk the hind leg off the animal of your choice, the other's fairly young, rules Mykenae, married to Helen, and so on and so forth. Got it now? Good.

Also, I'm not reassured by the fact that your idea of an ending activity is to watch and compare O Brother Where Art Thou. Just, y'know, doesn't give me the feeling that this class has anything to do with English.

Yours,
Me.

Dear Chem Teacher,

If you'd made it clear that you gave a damn about homework, maybe I would've done more of it. If it'd seemed worthwhile, even. I must introduce you to the principals of inflation: The more you give, the less it's worth. Thanks to your busywork, I have to be perfect for the rest of the year. I hate you.

Me, the one you gave an 88 to this quarter, despite the fact that, considering my 100 on the midterm and the way you keep having me tutor, I clearly know what you were (not) teaching.

Volleyball (in Gym class, especially, with music blaring) is one of the circles of Hell Dante doesn't tell you about, between Condescension and Telemarketers. Bah. Two weeks--may prepare me for Eternity after I die.

Sociology had better be good. It had just better. She's saying we'll take notes a lot, and I'm in a group with people who are at least vaguely responsible and/or competant, so it might be decent.

Feh. I'm going to catch it when report cards come out.
