Midterms over. Is good. Got a 95 on my Math one, an I-don't-know-but-not-an-A on the History, a better-be-good-the-way-she-talked-about-the-essay on the English, and an I-have-no-clue-but-probably-good on the Chem.

We started War Crimes in History today. Just the mini-abstracts made me want to throw up. I--it--so many kinds of yech and oh-my-god-ew. It makes me depressed. I'm applying for that change-of-species ASAP. I don't think I want to be part of a world that can do things like that.

The aspect of teen suicides they don't tell you about: Sheer disgust at the species.

Sociology starts on Tuesday! Halfway through the year YAY!

I went to a little meet-thing on Thursday, with this woman whose son died in Iraq one year ago next Thursday. He died for nothing. The only reason he was there that day is because he felt it his duty to the men under him to be there. He died for lies, and now his mother has no child. She can't sue the government--did you know that an enlisted man signs away not only his right to blame the government for anything that happens/is done to him, but his parents' or spouse's as well?--and she can't substitute teach at my school anymore. Why? She got arrested for protesting at a Bush campaign thing. So much for freedom of speech.

I can't tell you more until I get my Orwell icon. It needs to be there.

I stayed up far too late to do my WWII portfolio last night. Need sleep.
