Long Overdue Blather...

Grandpa drove down on Saturday with a lot of furniture, boxes, etc. for no apparent reason. So we now have a really cool bed, desk, chair and lamp set that we're all fighting over. The Sister wants it and to have the library become her room, I want it to stay guest stuff so we don't have to fight over it, and the Parental Units...don't kow about them.

Also, in the boxes was a lot of art supplies. Waterclors in tubes! And colored pencils! And linoleum block carvings! And...and...a pretty Japanese calligraphy set! OmgSQUEE!

I got more books and a really, really pretty paper parasol-type thing. I love the grandparents.

In decidedly less cheerful news, Gran has lung cancer. This=bad. Fortunately, they caught it early, so it may not have spread, but still...Wah.

I am enjoying the fact that it is Monday and yet I don't have to go anywhere. Ahhhh...

I actually wrote the Tomouya ficlet for my challenge. But more on that later.
