I Love My Family!

I know you're not reading this, mom, but I love you. A lot. A very very very lot. You are the best mom in the world, and an absolutely wonderful friend too.

Yes, I have a reason for this other than that it's Mothers' Day. I mean, that's good too, but I already gave her a card and a poem. Actually, this has more to do with me than her. Because she loves me very much (of course there was no element of wanting it too, oh no none at all), she bought me:

Sethra Lavode. AKA the third of the Viscount of Adrilankha series, my One of Several True Loves. I love that woman, I do. Although the woman is certainly not Sethra (she's wearing a white shirt and her skin is way too dark), nor is it Tazendra (she has a boot knife--that's unsporting), and I'm at a loss as to who else it might be. Still, Brust didn't draw the cover art.

They also bought me a Pink Floyd CD (Dark Side of the Moon), apparently in hopes that I continue to agree with their taste in music. As I'm listening to the Beatles right now, I think it's working.

So, mom, if you're reading this, I loove you and you're a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious person, that you are.
