I have had an epiphany regarding the purpose of the Guardians.

Kero exists to be Loiosh. Meaning: If I had two dead teckla, I'd give you one, and Gee, boss, do you reckon I could have thought that up if I had opposable thumbs?. Correct response: Shut up, Loiosh Kero.

Yue, inasmuch as he exists for any purpose except standing there looking pretty, exists to be a Great Weapon, specific one to be determined. Meaning: He may do any of the following: Project an aura of incalculable menace, be connected to his owner/bearer/master/mistress/whatever by an incredibly strong bond of affection and/or devotion, do all kinds of weird things to ensure survival of above, and/or glare at anyone in the general vicinity indicating that, although he would like nothing better than to devour your souls, Sakura won't let him.

Possibly Blackwand, except Sakura is no Morrolan. I'd say Godslayer, as that places him around Loiosh/Kero, but he hasn't got her personality. He's more like Vlad, if anyone.

Thus do I connect the Anime of Ultimate Fluff with Dragaera, land of swords and sorcery. My mind works in strange ways.
