Conclusion: They kept all the best names for themselves, those medieval Flemish bastards.

...I was going to comment and say, "dude, that totally has to become HP fanon! The 'Dark Lord' before Grindelwald, I can just see it!" but then my brain was blown away by a much, much more important revelation:

I HAVE JUST FOUND MY PEN NAME. Should I ever write a novel (or rather, finish any of the novel bits on my hard drive), I WILL PUBLISH AS ELLEN ARCHENRATH. This GUARANTEES that it will be made of awesome!
