You realize, if you don't watch out you're going to end up meeting Gordon R. Dickson's definition of a "scholar"? I don't remember the exact words (from _The Tactics of Mistake_, I think), but it was something like, "An expert is someone who knows a great deal about his subject. A scholar knows everything that's available to be known about his subject."
